My favorite traditional, cozy, and police procedural mystery authors and a mini bio

If I had three wishes, one would be to live in Cabot Cove, Maine -- if it existed.

Not that my reading tastes run exclusively to cozies (like Christie, Allingham, Sayers and many others). I'm also drawn like a magnet to the psychological traditional detective mystery writers: my mentor (who I took a master class with) Elizabeth George.PD James, Colin Dexter, Louise Penny, Henning Mankell, Ann Cleves, Carolyn Graham (original Midsomer murder novels) and too many others to list.

It is such a joy to finally write what I love... mysteries. And you the readers are making my second wish come true.

As to the third, I'm going to leave that open... because life is magical.

Coming soon: My 10-day mystery-writing master class with bestseller Elizabeth George (The Lyndley novels) in Tuscany!

Coming even sooner: Why do we need detectives in traditional murder mysteries to be attractive?
